i still have the bite marks to prove it.

i got bitten by one of these when i was in saama village last week visiting danielle:

my friend michael took this picture. that thing is as fat as my finger.

a giant, poisonous centipede. it was pretty uncomfortable.

luckily, danielle is a great nurse and had water boiling immediately to draw out the poison and an ice pack ready to keep down the swelling. 

and i think it earned me a few tough guy points, too.
