our walk to the top started late in the afternoon, as the sun was going down. we joked and laughed and walked along... forgetting that we were even on the side of a volcano. an hour and a half later, we reached the top. it was an incredible trip.
if you ever get the chance to see an active volcano, don't pass it up. i promise it is worth it.
